Thanks for replying Fendorin, guess everyone else thought it was unworthy of comment, really inspires me to work on more, keep that silence coming guys!!! (that sounded less abrasive and funnier in my head )
More stuff, might be useful for some kind of computer type stuff; did some random colours for fun.

lol, I was going for "ruggedised field units" but that works too, guess the bright pink version could be for little girls or something. Really though I was trying to imagine a space pilot mobile console, the sort of thing that would work in a vacuum while you're doing an EVA, with buttons ueable with big stubby space suit fingers.chuck_starchaser wrote:Cute. For a rugged-looking version, try a "stainless" look; 70% gray specular, black diffuse, low shinness (Hard =~10 in Blender); and maybe put a protective frame of rubber around, (with holes on the sides that let you see the metal, so it's clear it's just a protective wrapper). Just ideas.

Well I would except I think it'll end up being used as something like the image for one of the pad readers or something anywayschuck_starchaser wrote:For a rugged-looking version, try a "stainless" look; 70% gray specular, black diffuse, low shinness (Hard =~10 in Blender); and maybe put a protective frame of rubber around, (with holes on the sides that let you see the metal, so it's clear it's just a protective wrapper). Did a couple more, I know there's already a brandy cargo image but I hate seeing photos in games and I figured something purpose made for the game would be preferable, but take it or leave it, it's here if it's wanted.

i think is very nice but is just my opinion
and just one thing (just my opinion again i m not perfect for say that)
your Illegal weapon will look like archeological weapon
rework on more strange weapon like biological, medicinal, or traitor weapon
give us something more funny Rivalin
indeed the pictures is very nice maybe good for collection weapon no?
is just my opinion and with your skill you should put some "funny item" you can do that?
Thank

You're right, that's why I put the ? after it, it would probably better as an image of regular weapons, illegal weapons should probably be a bit more crazy looking. I'm not sure if there's a cargo image that would fit it though.Fendorin wrote:i think is very nice but is just my opinion

I agree with Fendorin; the weapons are gorgeous but they'd be out of place in the fourth millenium. AK-47's will indeed be pricey relics in museums.

Yup it's rendered Guess I'm improving.
As for the weapons, maybe they could be ultra low low budget ones or something, because yes they would look very old fashioned. However logically, people are still using shotguns today indistinguishable from 200 years ago, if a form works then it's unlikely to change, maybe future assault rifles will have differently located magazines, or none at all etc, but due to ergonomics, they will probably still have a barrel, a stock, a butt, a handle with a trigger etc. I dunno, maybe someone can think of somewhere to use it, maybe and antique weapons cargo image or something

Re:
All I can say about the brandy is "WOW."
I could accept the weapon magazines glowing (maybe it's an energy weapon and the glow indicates its charge level) but the glowing barrel looks wrong. The only purpose I can envision is to tell your enemy where you are. So I recommend you remove the barrel glow and tone down the magazines a bit.

Re: Cargo Images
I actually love the Illegal weapons picture. You know, the glowing barrel could be for anything we can't even imagine. Remember, VS takes place in the year 3276+. Thus, those weapons do not seem to be stealth weapons, but rather power weapons. They are like "Illegally modified weapons" of some sort, like in KOTOR.
