Just half an hour and then give up?
Talking about persistence... or lack of it thereof.
I usually listen to classical, but not (it's not actually classical, though most people call it that): Prokofjev, Rachmaninov, Mahler (though I've been realizing of the existence of quite a few pitfalls with Mahler's compositions lately).
Though, lately, I don't listen to anything anymore. My good headset's cable got busted and it's really expensive to replace, so I'm trying to fix the bad headset (and eventually get a replacement cable for the good one) so that I can manage with unimportant stuff. But music... music I can't hear with the bad set.
1.Freaky Fukin Weirdoz -> Culture Shock (German Crossover)
2 .Jefferson Airplane -> After Bathing at Baxters ( Westcoast)
3. Turin Brakes -> The Optimist, The ethal songs, Jack in a box (New psyco-country,
undescribeble, only good)
4. Beck -> Epro (the looser has a new record)
5. Page and Plant -> No Quarter (Kashmir)
6. Man -> Be good to yourself at least once a day(Welsh band from the 60th, still touring in germany, perfect psycodelic sound)
7. Kings of Leon ( new nasty rock from the southwest of the USA)
8. Velvet Underground (Lou Reed,John Cale)
9. Blind Melon (The better part of guns'nRoses)
10. Frumpy (Inga Rumpf)
11. Mano Negra ( spanish fun folk, punk)
12. Grateful Dead, New Riders of the Purple Sage (Henry went to Acapulco)
13. Kasabian ( serious new psycodelic sounds)
14.Violent femmes (The bad women blues)
15. Guns 'n Roses ( no comment)
16. The Clash (Joe Strummer and the Mescaleiros)
17. Dead Kennedys, Lard (Biafra)
18. Can (from the 60th until now, Irmin Schmidt, HolgerCzukay)
19. Jimi Hendrix -> Electric Ladyland
20. Jardbirds ( later Led Zeppelin)
21. Jane's addiction ( the logical middle between guns'nroses and Nirvana)
22. The Who ( Tommy)
23. Tyrannosaurus Rex ( Johns Children,Early Marc Bolan)
24. Sensational Alex Harvey Band ( Early hard rock, faith healer)
25. Nirvana (not the band with the same name from the 60th, I mean Curt Cubain)
I like more bands, but I think 25 is enough for a list.

@Klauss... I don't like to listen to music from the harddrive at all... In this matter I'm kind of a retro. I need a record or a CD, a booklet, boxes... all that stuff... Using a headset sounds like horrors to me...
