Format of models in VS?

Post by hunter »

Just a quick question:

What format are the object models in vs? And can blender handle that format?

quick answer no. bfxm is the current format, mesher that you will find in the bin folder of VS is the conversion utility it takes obj +mat files as input it is also biderectional bfxm-->obj+mat check the wiki on usage blender exports to obj+mat format. the move to Ogre3d means a move to another format but there is a blender plug-in for it :) at Ogre3d's site.

Enjoy the Choice :)

That pretty much sums it up. HowTo:Add Ships has a nice overview of formats.
