Err... yeah, well I suppose you can talk about other stuff as well, maybe?

New Record

Post by rigelan »

Whoa, is that user-counter correct? Was there a new record of people online? June 24th 2007. 78 users? Doesn't seem right. All I ever see is two or three around. The last record was in January 2005 or so. and that was 50-some users. Maybe some blog referenced the game and a bunch of people showed up.

Actually, as I look now, it shows 3 registered users and 42 guests. I don't ever remember this many people before.

As long as they're browsing the forum, they'll find what they need on their own. And who knows -- they might come back and offer some help

When I download whatever program is needed to make your own Vegastrike ships, I'll have an attempt at modding. ;)

You don't need that much... Starting off with modding the units.csv, I'd suggest csveditor2 by GAlex, available somewhere on the forum.

Most other files can be hacked with plain text editors, like python files or xmls.

Graphics can be changed using standard programs, and the music is m3u.

Privateer Parallel Universe's moving to a new home could be announced there, then, I suppose. ;-)

Not sure Off topic is the most useful place to post this, but it does follow the thread:

If someone from PPU points me at an appropriately sized (~160 pixels wide by ~120pixels high, give or take) thumb they're keen on, I'll happily link in the new PPU website in the Mods/Total Conversions sidebar on the front page if/when the PPU folks desire such a link.

Sure; I don't have a pic on me; but I'll run this by the PU guys, and PM you about it. Thanks!

Sorry to derail the thread, guys.
