getting your groove on

Post by Tarran »

So, I'm sitting around, messing with the hull on my tug, with music rattling my windows, and I wandered to myself.. when you folks are doing your thing.. coding, modeling, brainstorming.. what music is usually there with you?

for me, its usually Primus (the one with Mud on it), Krokus (headhunter album), death watch beetle repairman, or willie deville
Do you hear, that whisper, calling unto you
O'childe of the shore
As have your brethern before you
beckoning, to sail to those distant lands
Come
embrace me, your mistress
Upon the coldest sea

Hello

My music is old, when I write computer code, but you need good selfplanted tobacco!
Electric Ladyland(Hendrix)
Cream (clapton. baker, bruce)
Frumpy (Inga Rumpf)
Can (Schmidt, Czukay)
Brian Eno
King Crimson

@lokii1950
about the old TyrannosaurusR.ex things and John's children (T.Rex is later):
- You scare me to death-original 1966-remastered 198?
- Prophets, Seers and Sages, the Angels of the Ages -1967?
- My people were fair and had sky in their hair,
but now their content to wear stars on their brows. 1967?-68?
- The unicorn- 1968 ?
There is a fourth one, I don't know the title.

But I prefer the "new riders of the purple sage" song (I only have it with Jerry Garcia) "Henry"
You know "Henrry went to Acapulco, and he's rolling down the mountain, fast, fast, fast"

Or Jerry Garcia and Grateful Dead themself,
or the old "Great Society" or old "Jefferson Airplane" "White Rabbit, Mexico"

Wow old thread...
But fun.

Jeff2121: Very yes.

I've recently been listening a lot to David Bowie and Queen when I'm hacking on Vegastrike... but possibly my favorite song to listen to while playing the game is "Intergalactic" by the Beastie Boys.
