Forum Update?

Any plans on updating the forum?
It would be nice to be able to turn off avatars, view printable pages, and search via the google "site:" flag.

well it would be nice to speed up the forum...

we could always go back tothe sourceforge.net forum--but most ppl hated that forum because it allowed no personalization.

You could turn off images as you viewed our site...it's a bit of a drag but most browsers let you turn off images quite trivially

sometimes the server takes simply forever to respond when I click "submit" or "search for posts"

I think with the current board the only reason to upgrade is security.
New features are a bonus though

But isn't the board already the newest version?
Or did you mean patches?
