Let the flames roll in...
Err... yeah, well I suppose you can talk about other stuff as well, maybe?

I used a midi sequencing program called Cakewalk Pro Audio (or something like that).

I've been experimenting lately with programs that let you use sample-based instruments and such, hopefully allowing me to make better sounding tunes. I haven't really found one that works, lets you use a piano roll to sequence, and lets you use custom sample instruments.

I've got Rosegarden installed on my machine, actually... but it crashes every time I run it. I haven't gotten around to figuring out why, or filing a bug report or anything yet.

Looks cool, though!

I've been mucking around with FruityLoops lately. It's a simple and fun program. I don't know if I'll come up with anything worth including in Vega Strike ever... but who knows?

Here's two things I've done with it. The first is self explanatory, and is about as good as the title would suggest. I'm sure I've posted it somewhere... but I remember Hellcat thinking it was totally cool, so I'll throw it up again. The second is something I did on a Saturday morning, goofing around. Fruity Loops is pretty neat, and it doesn't take long to figure out how to do the basics.
