Greetings ladies and gentlemen

After much deliberation I have decided to enter the VS world for the first time. My question is this. Knowing what you know, which flavour of VS/mods would you play first? I played the original Elite, WC and Privateer, and loved them all. But if you were in my shoes, would you play VS, Star Wars, Trek or Babylon 5 as a first venture?

I would recommend Privateer PU (Parallel Universe). It's an active mod with a well developed story.
