I was wondering if anyone plays or has played this game.
Well, for people who don't know, Operation Flashpoint is a realistic milsim (Military Simulation) that focuses on a hypothetical war between NATO and the Soviet Union during the Cold War, specifically, the 1980s.
It was released in 2001 for the PC, and has a wide range of missions for the player; which include:
-Flying a helicopter gunship.
-Special forces assualt on a town.
-Commanding an Abrams tank platoon.
-Combat search and rescue.
It also has a comprehensive campaign with more than 40 missions, which usually take between 1-3 hours; and is expanded upon by the Resistance expansion pack, which lets you take the role of Victor Troska, a former SOF operator turned guerilla.
You can usually pick it up for about $20, with the Resistance and Red Hammer expansions from Amazon or something.
