Beware the jubjub bird and shun

yay! I wondered how many people had read Through the looking glass and alice in the wonderland. If you're confused about your current existence, read them. :) I read them when I was about 10, didn't understand a lot of the nuances then. Now, I appreciate it even more. :)

"I'm late, I'm late!"

And dan, you did cheat didn't you? :D

It's "Jabberwocky".

so in that sense... i think its pretty cool.... :)

but most ppl like to play games or watch movies about things that are larger than life to escape the meaningless of thier little lives, and to effect LARGE changes by their simple existance... (ok... um... i didnt mean for it to sound THAT bad... :D )

VS is the game
A lifelike game.

Purpose you lack,
other than credits stack,
not much else to do,
in VS, the game to do.

So... why not think it's cool?
it sure beats playing pool.

Like watching movies,
change you can't,
the simple existence,
you have all around.

Like watching movies,
the hero someone else is.
Like watching movies,
your slipper lost you.

And my slipper surfaces,
Amidst a sea of faces,
Disguised with shoelaces.

The tenuousity of connections,
The mind cannot hold,
The vibrance of hallucinations,
And my conciousness unfolds,
Deeper into insanity,
Farther from matter,
Nearer to obscurity,

There was once a rat,
Who got eaten by a cat,
Who resembled a bat,
And then what?!

Sat

Mat

Rat
Pat

Heh, reminds me of an old Hebrew song called "Chad Gadya" (Little Goat) sung each year during Passover...

Here is the partial english translation we usually use:
One little goat, one little goat
My father bought for two zuzim.
Chad gadya, chad gadya.

Then came the cat and ate the kid,
My father bought for two zuzim.
Chad gadya, chad gadya.

Then came the dog and bit the cat,
that ate the kid,
My father bought for two zuzim.
Chad gadya, chad gadya.

Then came the stick and beat the dog,
that bit the cat that ate the kid,
My father bought for two zuzim.
Chad gadya, chad gadya.

Then came the fire and burned the stick,
that beat the dog that bit the cat,
that ate the kid,
My father bought for two zuzim.
Chad gadya, chad gadya.

Then came the water and and quenched the fire,
that burned the stick that beat the dog,
that bit the cat that ate the kid,
My father bought for two zuzim.
Chad gadya, chad gadya.

Then came the ox and drank the water,
that quenched the fire that burned the stick,
that beat the dog that bit the cat,
that ate the kid,
My father bought for two zuzim.
Chad gadya, chad gadya.

Then came the butcher and slew the ox,
that drank the water that quenched the fire,
that burned the stick that beat the dog,
that bit the cat that ate the kid,
My father bought for two zuzim.
Chad gadya, chad gadya.

Then came the angel of death,
and killed the butcher that slew the ox,
that drank the water that quenched the fire,
that burned the stick that beat the dog,
that bit the cat that ate the kid,
My father bought for two zuzim.
Chad gadya, chad gadya.

Then came the Holy One, blessed be He!
And destroyed the Angel of death,
that killed the butcher that slew the ox,
that drank the water that quenched the fire,
that burned the stick that beat the dog,
that bit the cat that ate the kid,
My father bought for two zuzim.
Chad gadya, chad gadya!
The fun part is that you're supposed to sing each verse in one breath! :D

Like the english song on the house that jack built ? Not sure on the title of that.

As for singing those verses in one breath, I'd probably die of hyperventilation, especially as it looks quite hard to pronounce yiddish. ;)

My song, on the other hand, has vereses that could be sung in one breath easily, even three verses in one breath.

How about tongue-twisters?

Here's a racy one:

Minekaniko ni Monico ang Makina ni Monica.

Dont ask me what it means. As i'd probably be banned.
