Yeah, on Saturday (August 28th) afternoon, I'm going to marry the prettiest girl in the world!

Needless to say, you won't be hearing from me for at least another week. Since no one is waiting for me to complete anything, that shouldn't bother anybody.

Oh yeah, I also just got a job working for Boeing. That rocks pretty good too.

There are other pictures, too, so you can all drool over the loveliness that is my Kathy. And for Pete's sake, use clean language.

Dont worry, everyone on the forums are too well manerd (and nerdy) to do that kind of stuff :)

Once again, congratulations. Make sure you dont loose interest in VS now though

Make sure your Franklin-class diplomatic shuttle has *JUST MARRIED* chalked in the rear window :-) so you can go on that honey-moon to the carribean worlds :-)

a couple grand credits should get you a nice spa and relaxing evenings under the tropical sun :-)

If only I were that lucky. My wedding is in July of next year.

Congrats, pincushionman. All the best for you and your soon-to-be wife.

Thank you for the kind words, gentlemen! Kathy and I have returned from our honeymoon to Mackinac Island, MI, which is a really wonderful place unless you're hell-bent on hitting the beach, because it's, as we say in Michigan, "way up north." It was unseasonably chilly due to the rather cold summer in general, but that meant there were a lot fewer other tourists to make noise than usual.

That doesn't really mean "I'm back" though -- I start my new job at Boeing Commercial Airplanes next week, and I need to be in Wichita, Kansas (Yay, tornado country) by the morning of the 15th. We don't even have an apartment yet, so don't expect me to be following VS too closely for the next three weeks.

Good news for you, though -- Kathy likes sitcoms and I don't, and it's the other way 'round for computer games, so we've agreed that I can mess around with games and VS when she's watching TV. Which means I can continue to contribute.

Oh, and just to make you all green with envy, Kathy insists on watching football (American football, that is; either college or NFL, whichever) whenever it's on. My wife rocks.

a belated congratulations pcman!

Mackinac Island is a great place! Michigan is (one of) my ancestral home(s), and I have fond memories of the horses, fudge, and ice cream of Mackinac Island.
