Siddis, I know from experiance, that docking with your main ship = docking with base, unless something has changed drasticly in that regard since 5.0. Also, cargo ships have no entry in your ships csv files, mores the pitty.
klauss, works great, but I think I tried to enable it in VS to no avail. If its not there can we port it in? Then we just have to flag cargo ships as part of the fleet, while retaining the ability to reel them back in and we're golden in regards to launching an escort.

It may require an AI script, we'd have to inspect WCU's implementation. Sure it can be ported.
About docking with your own ship, it is in fact the same as docking with other ships - presently. It could be made different without much fuss, it all sits in python base scripts.

To my mind, dock with your ship = docking with anyother ship w/ acess to your bridge and leave the other ship in the bay.

Yup. Got to have specialized high-energy plant stations sitting on relatively "hot" orbits, that would slurp EM and ion radiation and churn out secondary power sources - packaged antimatter and He-3. Which of course also means specialized traffic.Deus Siddis wrote:Suns produce enormous light, which means an enormous source of energy and probably the only chance to produce any useful quantities of antimatter. They are also the least hazardous.
Psst. Black holes as an artifact (so far) of GRT are inherently incompatible both with warp system concepts any less inconvenient than Alcubierre's drive and with quantum gravity and thus most gravitic fun, such as repulsion.Deus Siddis wrote:Black holes

There's no such thing as incompatible technologies in a game
