if anyone has played "privateer 2 the darkening", you will remember the in flight emails you recieved. they could be an SOS, or a "Meet me at the bar" message (for fixers) etc. They do not nesserarly have to be for a plot line, but the mini quests that fixers can offer. one thing inflight email would not have is the ability for junk mail, and the player cannot send (he has comms for that), only recieve.
