Re: power system manipulation
Why don't we use Star Trek Bridge Commander as a source for ideas, I still play it and I'm able to quickly adjust power levels and repair priorities in the middle of some crazy battles

Re: power system manipulation
I have been playing this game for a while and i have one question, is there a way you can turn of the shields. I was in a firefight and after the fight i sustained heavy damage. My reactor was destroyed and i then the shields drained the rest of the energy out of my capacitors. Now I am out in the middle of nowhere without energy for weapons or shields. If i was able to disable the shields, I would at least have energy left for weapons. I was just wondering if i can bind a key to turn off the shields when necessary. I thank you for your time and support.

You have two key bindings that you can add to your config file:
Make sure the keys assign don't conflict with others, of course.
I think they're toggles (so you press once, it reduces your shield, press again, restore)
Code: Select all
<bind key="s" modifier="none" command="SetShieldsTwoThird"/>
<bind key="S" modifier="none" command="SetShieldsOneThird"/>
