First you have to get the right source tree the main branch does not support OGRE at all.And ATM the code will not compile with the current OGRE libs only the previous version and it is not playable as it is just a framework more exploration than anything else so if you still want to continue let me know.

Not a problem to give it a try... Btw am compilling base is on Gentoo... It is an enter branch in SVN with it's own data tree as well as the ogre requires a new mesh format and only a limited number have been converted like i said it's a test bed really there was a windows executable in the bin folder of that data tree if i remember the branch has recently been renamed to what i don't know so you may have to browse the SVN repos to find it the window's binary is called systemexplorer that should be an indication that you have the right branch.good luck
