A few minor annoying things...

Trying to build your own version of Vega Strike and having problems? Unix users, paste your config.log here (stderr output alone is not helpful).

YAY! the CVS projects and source finally work... _finally_ o well. Compiles fine, except i needed to take win_dir.cpp out of the project.

anywayyys...

eh, it works, but it is very 'jerky' as in it puts out a good frame rate for 1 second then doens't put another frame out for 1/8 of a second then loops like that, so that is werid. Also, logos display as little white boxes... im presuming that means that the images can't be fond or loaded or something like that? The in game target mouse thingy does that if i am not in the cockpit (becomes a white box) but if i am in the cockpit it works... its weird.

One more thing, how would i turn the in game mouse of and just make work on screens where the mouse is needed (bases, etc.)?

compile with optimizations and you'll get a much better framerate

it works fine on my version in either debug or release


to turn off the mouse, copy your setup tool from the release version of VS and then turn off mouse

or edit vegastrike.config and turn off warp_mouse variables
