GLUT

I've got a problem with GLUT. I know that GLUT is library for 3D etc., but I installed
nvidia drivers ( jupi ! ). So, Do I have to install GLUT ? I heard, that installation of this lib
is quite hard.

just download libglut.3.7.tgz and install

or

but it's just as easy to compile and install with glut---glut is way compatible
