Debian 9 ("Stretch", unstable)

Trying to build your own version of Vega Strike and having problems? Unix users, paste your config.log here (stderr output alone is not helpful).

Debian 9 ("Stretch", unstable)

Post by MoonKid »

I tried to build from SVN on Debian unstable ("Stretch" version 9). I used this wiki as manual: http://vegastrike.sourceforge.net/wiki/ ... eck-out.29 and this http://vegastrike.sourceforge.net/wiki/ ... #Compiling.

I did this

Code: Select all

svn co https://vegastrike.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/vegastrike/trunk/vegastrike
svn co https://vegastrike.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/vegastrike/trunk/data
svn update vegastrike/boost/1_35
The SVN checked out a boost/1_53 instead of a boost/1_35 as the wiki mentioned. Is it ok?

I can not find a bootsrap-sh somewhere.

We dropped the bootstrap script several years ago you now use cmake and the source currently on the svn sever will not build due to API changes in quite a few libraries but there is an attempt to update the source here https://github.com/Taose/Vegastrike-taose

Enjoy the Choice :)
