I have followed the instructions found at: http://vegastrike.sourceforge.net/wiki/ ... u_Linux%29

When I have to execute "make", I get quite a lot of making, but the last lines show:

/usr/lib/gcc/i686-linux-gnu/4.6.1/../../../i386-linux-gnu/libgtk-x11-2.0.so: undefined reference to `g_datalist_get_data'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[1]: *** [vssetup] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/dexter/Compiled/VegaStrike_SVN/vegastrike'
make: *** [all] Error 2

What am I missing?

I do think you have some broken package.
That file has nothing to do with VS, it's gtk.

That, or you didn't run configure.
