New to Linux AND compiling

Trying to build your own version of Vega Strike and having problems? Unix users, paste your config.log here (stderr output alone is not helpful).

New to Linux AND compiling

Post by telarc »

I tried to follow the SVN installation instructions from http://vegastrike.sourceforge.net/media ... e_from_SVN .

I may have wrongly typed the ./configure commands listed on that page, I put them in one at a time, so the last one entered was ./configure --with-boost=1.35

next I typed just 'make'

Attached is my logfile. I have no idea what did or did not happen, except for ending with error messages... Can anyone help me? Thank you

Welcome telarc from the configure log it seems that you have everything but the ffmpeg dev file but that is not critical and the the log ends with a 0 which ,means no errors so it's your make log i need to see just copy the terminal output to a text file and post that.

Enjoy the Choice :)
