Perhaps.
But that won't do any good until I figure out WHAT IS SCREWING MY MODEL'S NORMALS!!!
Too bad that Klauss isn't here, I would like to ask him where exactly to put the command -flipn.
And when I don't export the normal data, mesher won't convert my model.
Gonna try exporting to .xmesh now.

Can you export to any other format other than .obj which can be opened byboth blender and wings? Maybe you could export the modle in that format and then open it again in wings, then export it from there. (.3ds?). If you have the xmesh plugin, you could also directly export it to xmesh from Wings. But anyhow, I believe wings object export is better than Blender's native exporter... probbaly.. lol
I for one export my models straight to obj from 3dsmax, but when reconverting from ingame bfxm models I pass thru wings, since 3dsmax obj. imports destroy the UV unwrap coordinates.

WRT assigning ppl
(Take careful note of the map naming standard:
spec maps end in PPL
damage in DMG
and glow maps in GLO)
I can't remember it offhand. Try my new admonisher bfxm in the units directory of VS SVN version, convert that to Obj. Since it has the complete map set, you should be able to use it for comparison.
I think it's map_Ks tho... but not sure.

You haven't tried just simply flipping tgeh normals the "wrong" way before export and seeign what happens? Also, make sure you're using single sided stuff (I know you've probably made sure, but I thought I'd throw the sum of my insight onto the table, just to be sure )

Heh, You're right, Dan, flipping the normals to the wrong side worked!
Now I need to fix another thing:
Notice some areas of the mesh missing
I just wonder what may cause this.
(Btw, don't mind the stripes, I fixed that.)

It's map_Ks indeed.
-flipn gets used like:
mesher blah.obj blah.bfxm obc -flipn
(though flags work everywhere, I think)
Missing sections... I don't know... if you post the latest .obj we may be able to check ourselves (I won't have time until really late, so posting instead of mailing will allow others to do it if they have time/figure it out sooner than I can).
