is there a way to define a light in an xmesh file?
I see dead polygons....

You mean something like point light source, spot light sources?
I don't think lights are supported (please correct me anyone?)

Mabie indicator blinking lights that appear on ships?? Like on the airplanes.

the blinking lights in the current CVS data4.x are very nice

you guys can borrow those animated textures for your blinkenlights

I've added some blinking lights to my trek ships, and they really add a lot.

It's not so hard to do it yourself. Just make three perpendicular squares, map a blinking circle texture to them... place them around your ship model in wings3d. combine them into a single mesh. export it, and set the mesh blend equal to ONE ONE, and you've got it.

The blink animation I did has the blink come on fast, and slowly shrink/fade. It looked way cool.
