Nitpicking:

1. It should be "THEY WANT TO KILL ALL OF HUMANITY" rather than "ALL HUMANITY";

2. Also, "THEIR INVASION HAS BEGUN" rather than "THEIR INVASSION HAS BEGIN";

3. In the "You can help us" paragraph, it should be look for, rather than look at, and the comma shouldn't be there.

4. Finally, the disclaimer should be "The Confederation Forces are not responsible for possible deaths due to combat against the Aera. A small indemnity will be paid to next of kin in case of death."

Other than that, the ad is beautiful! Good job.

Ok, ok, i have just remade the ad.
The problem is that i merged all layers in the "bad" ad, so now i had to do all again, and this is the new ad:

Yeah.

But is also good to save the source image somewere in your hard disk

Look at me, i have just merged all layers and created the png file, and then i deleted the original image, so i had to do it again

And I think this is better than the old Aera splashscreen. which was kind of encyclopedic and would not really make sense, as an info ad on the BBC. So, could this replace it?

From the confed standpoint, it's brilliant!

And sorry for being late in nitpicking but....

The "Aera race" would sound better if you just said "Aerans", methinks.

I kinda love the fraternal war screen. The intensity of the color is what makes it so... intense. It's a bombardment, it's supposed to be that moody - I think it's great. Perhaps you can enhance it somehow, but as a concept it's great. As a splash... perhaps too. Though it would need an onscreen explanation, or I wouldn't understand it.

Oh no! It's not an advertisement.

More like a historical file..
or a news item.. kinda like archives or something..

actually let me tell you the story behind the fraternal war screen.. I wanted to create a proper aeran concept showing Aeran soldiers in armor in the battlefield fighting. Well, THIS was supposed to be the background.

I drew the horizon, mucked up some fractal renders, torched some buildings and just couldn't stop...

So goodbye Aeran soldiers..

I couldn't in any imaginable way incorporate Aeran troops in the pic, so I just turned it into something else..

Well... I'm CRUSHED that no one commented on the shaper gal... THAT was a lot more work than the fraternal war screen.

Couldn't someone just comment on her eyes (like "I see stars in yer eyes... are you wearing contact lenses?" or "I love your tan!"

)

oh well..

Anyway, if any of these are eligible splash screens let me know.

If none of them are...

The Shaper is nice, just seems that the eyebrows are a tad glowie.

if none of the features of the shaper's face is made to stand out, then you won't see nuthin of her face anyway...

Anyway, shaper brows are specifically described as the only body hair of shapers and quote "characteristic blue-white eyebrows of the shapers".

I suppose it is a matter of contrast... that pic is lit from the background so eyebrows seem to glow. They should only look bright when lit from the front - and then the features of her face would shine brighter as well.
