gunboats/corvettes

Post by Duality »

Do any of these type of ships exist in VS yet??

I could probably make one but it has to be in one big mesh.

As for the turrets, are they orientated to be placed on the top of the ship by default?

I would like to make one of those.

when making a ship can you apply a class to it in it's xunit file?
(/me runs to the wiki to make sure he didn't miss it...)
This isn't the end of the universe, I've been to the end of the universe and trust me, this isn't it!

YES! :-)

<Unit >
<Description combatRole="CARGO">
</Description>
<Meshfile file = "cargo01-Frame.xmesh" >
</Meshfile>
<Meshfile file = "cargo01-Sides.xmesh" >
</Meshfile>
<Thrust >

(this is the cargo unit)

the list of combat roles is in the csv files in the ai directory (you may need cvs):
