The ships will not be smoothed. They will stay in their sharp-edged-look. Take a look at jumpgate screenshots floating around on the net. They will show you
I'm not sending my models right now. You can get them once I've lost interest in working on them *g*

I really don't want to be a meanie however, I don't want to make a lot of people upset or start a flame war however, I think the original game is still alive and kicking and I would not have any clue if this game would breach any of the copyright laws or might run into legal trouble with the oringinal company.

Wing Commander hasn't been a viable brand name for about a decade.
Although, as we went through back with the Serenity mod, the real question is not "does this infringe on some company's IP?" but "will they sue you?"

I'm lightyears away from the real game and I'm sure it will never have the same quality as the original game.
So currently it's more a playground for me than really usable.
And also: If I continue the game with my current development speed I will be done in about 20 years ...
