I think kinda interested in making stations.

I know you can't make the station in one whole moby mesh.. because in some games, there is a cube collision detection if you make a station in whole.

how do you guy make stations?

Hi Duality,

The normal methode in VS i think is to use the actually geometry of the station (also ships/capships/...) for collision detection.

But you can define a collision mesh in the unit-file.
There is even colission mesh for bolt and beam weapons.

I hope i didn't mix something up ;-)

pontiac is correct
one big bloody mesh is fine *G* faster too

well faster if it's under 4096 polygons (2048 for old video cards)
otherwise you could divide it into 2 or 3 station subpieces
