Nice. It reminds me of the old osprey.

I'm not sure if it fits in with a particular race's style, though.

On your dirty version, you might want to add some streaks of paint, dirt, and/ or oil on the panels. design is nice :)

This really makes me think of the luddites. Too bad they already have a new redeemer model. (unless we were to do something radical like re-purpose the new redeemer, and make this the current luddites ship. I'm undecided as to whether even I would support that change.)

I suppose it could do as a light, low-end fighter model... maybe ISO?
The color scheme is ISO enough, at any rate. We also need new "hammer" and "sickle" models that don't look like hammers or sickles... this might do for the sickle.

Relative sizing of what I presume to be the cockpit to the rest of the vehicle is quite a bit on the large side, leading one to either believe that the cockpit area is remarkably large for presumably small numbers of pilots (1-2), or that the non-inhabited portions of the vehicle are remarkably underprovisioned.

It might be partially due to the perspective... doesn't look as disproportionate in these views:

It seems to have roughly the same volume as a schroedinger.

The texture looks nice.

Care to bother to tell how you did the textures on that ship?

I would like to do the same.

"Plates" look like bump map or some kind of lightning effect. Then there's some airbrush or similar, and some red regions... shouldn't be to hard imitating?

Looks nice, but also has that cool "boxy" shape from some of the older models. This definitely should be in game. Looking at the red paint lines on the fighter, there could be alternate textures for different factions for this ship.

I love it, it's very WC4... can we use it over at WCU for a custom fighter for a rival bounty hunter?

That IS very WC4ish!

If it goes to WCU, I'll make a dashboard for it. I think the dashboard style of a Lancia (sqarish, grid-style buttons and lights) would go perfectly with it.
Of course, I'm counting on that, once you defeat your nemesis, you get the ship... right Spirit? ;-)

An idea:

When and if planetary landings are added, could this be an atmospheric fighter?

The shape of the wings and the presence of air intakes would make it very well suited to this role.

I have it(since I helped alittle with the texture and rendered that shot) but I can't send it to you since it's not my model. I'll try to contact FH though.

Yes there is a slight bump map applied and one infinite light source for a little lighting effect.

It's actaully not even close to the final texture but I updated the post because the first 2 shots looked...well...terrible.

It needs more detail but it should be done soon.
