Hey i like it very nice look!!
great work
your modelization are very good
i pick that in the Wiki:
under the BEAUVOIR (Andolian'manufacturing ship)
Role Summary: Interstellar large cargo transport
Role Details: The Andolians had, and continue to have, a sufficiently large and highly cohesive internal economy to prevent the ISMG, and the CMT before it, from imposing a near monopoly on the transport of civilian goods, as the Merchants did in other areas. The Andolians, therefore, have their own bulk transport craft. Far smaller than an Elephant class, larger, but less specialized for only hauling container cargo than an Ox, the Beauvoir is a solid, if not overly modernized transport vessel, that meets the needs of the Andolian Protectorate.
it should be the beauvoir no???
edit :+it have a look close to the current Tesla Cruiser-ship and the 2 little pod at side of the landing cargo deck look like the andolian turret pod

It sounds like that might be a good fit. Hopefully if it is, it can keep it's cool bridge section in the back since, unlike your Watson model was, it is of protectorate make rather than andolian military.

Ok, all done, I've given it a rairly boring texture, because unofrtunately without being unwrapped by someone who knows what they're doing, it's basically impossible to texture it with any details without there being distortions. Did a wallpaper too.

i worked over your model : is difficult because you use a lot of 90° angle a tips for render your unwrapping easier it use a 45° angle for your hull plating.
and post your model with the materiel information you have or bake one texture layer without AO please.
thanks

@ Rivalin could u post your ship with the materials applied
more i have material better is
For the future work just post your model with the material applied.
You can bake texture but anyway i rework the uv map unwrapping manualy then ....
Thanks in Advance

Nice freighter model Rivalin. I wish I had the patience to learn some of the tools necessary to make these types of models.

Welcome darkone like your site
you might add links for a few of our mods
PU and VegaTrek come to mind they could use a few more users/bughunters
Enjoy the Choice

Nice Fendorin it may be freighter but it does look impressive enough to be a battleship

Personally, I'd prefer to see it without the conning tower (certainly without an asymmetric conning tower that arbitrarily defines an up versus down dynamic which has no particular need to exist, because this sort of craft is never going to land on a planet.)
If you wanted to put extensions that looked like observation towers on it, a more interesting place would be astride the docking areas, where one might actually have something to watch on occasion.
Still, it's not a bad fit for the Beauvoir, provided it is appropriately scaled to a size where each of the connections to the docking bay could ostensibly be a small container feed.

Good one.

Well, if they'll just remove shuttle bays and strap two pods with "capship-heavy" mounts and extra defence turrets instead, it
will be a battleship.
BTW, why not to turn such modules into
subunits and then do it in game ?

... and there's no need for such a complicated form where something more convex would be just as good, more sturdy and require less walls.

Only, side bays are sort of strapped with duct tape. I mean, if it's transport and it has two big pass-through bays, there should be something more cargo-stream friendly than structural-power-conveyor lines crammed all-in-one into relatively narrow extendable booms on sides, no?.. More like short and wide "neck" stuck right into hull's side. "Flat telescopic sidegrip" design has its own merits (aside of looking cool
), but not in this application. When here's some connectors on "up" and "down" sides, there's no obvious reason why not one wide on each side, and then why not enclose that hole between "up" and "down" connectors, with wide passage instead of two blind walls ?

VERY nice model! Are the turrets already on their place?

NO no turret yet
I think in the close future the turrets should be redone and rework like S,M,L,XL for each (or more important) faction according with the faction artstyle.
But no turret on the model and IMHO maybe because is a freighter a very tiny turret like point defense must be on this class of ship.

1. As Loki said, it kinda looks like a battleship...
2. It seems to carry valuable things (hangars...). I think it should carry a decent defense.

Maybe its a first gen battlestar
I like it as is WITH the conning tower. Is this in the svn or has it been completed?
