I have one recommendation: the bottom edge of the heads make contact with and in some cases intersect the shoulders. Recommend you adjust the shape of the head so the workers are not banging their heads against their shoulders.

i didn't understand first but i think it's a optical/perspectiv effect any "head touch the chest/shoulder is maybe because the head are "beveling" in rear part and this bevel lines might follow the inclination/inclinaison of chest

But anyway it's seem to be the picture is not clear even if the head don't actually touch the body.
Then i will should propose a new arrangment/presentation/lighting

Edit: I'd add these to SVN but the tools to convert to DDS like to crash my video card.

Long time since I've been on here, but I think it would be cool is the black market version had maybe some blood or goo on the floor, or perhaps a cockroach. Just for fun. :)

I like the new worker. This angle clearly shows the shape of the head (invalidating my earlier comment). He has nice bright "safety" markings. Best of all, the placement of his shoulders looks like he is slouching, perhaps he is depressed about being a worker. Brilliant!

Thanks for the depressed worker
-the old picture should may be "a illegal robot strike program" (cargo contraband or Iso cargo)

Then today sometings less politics... :wink:

A proposition for the PreFab_Buildings replacement :

looks nice, but scale is a bit difficult to distinguish. A door or entrance that can be clearly seen seems to be a good idea to add, as there doesn't seem to be one.

Sir/Maam:

I hope these are Adequate. All are 1024x1024, png, and the Lic is PD, as I photographed and edited them:

Here is an Idea for replacing Enhanced Bacteria:

Construction stone:

Construction Vehicles:

Base metals:

Steel:

Wood Boards:

Assembly Tools: (I think I can get a better picture with less glare. I'll try again later)

I'm not sure what this one could replace(obviously something containery), however, it is a nice shot and If you think you have a spot for it, it is yours:

If there is anything I need to do or alter to get these approved/sumbitted, plz let me know. I'm not the most computer savy person out there, and I've never used image shack before.

take care

Welcome denyasis not bad but i don't do the content vetting :wink: Like the fact they are your photos though as that makes license details much easier to handle.Now for a bit of criticism the Construction Vehicles is a bit too contemporary as i imaging future vehicles to have undergone several design changes in the thousand or so years for our setting the same may also be said about the Assembly Tools but they are familiar so may do 8)

Enjoy the Choice :)

Thanks for the input! I was a little concerned about contemporary images. I wasn't sure of the ones in the game were tongue-in-check or placeholders. I'll have to browse a bit for more abstract images.

Hmm looks a little too contemporary to me. For the second one, I don't think it fits the SPEC capacitors. It fits nicely something else I saw the last time I played, but I can't remember what it is :roll:

When I look at it, I think battery or a source of power.

Only reason why i said SPEC Capacitor is because it currently doesnt have one

oh SPEC capacitor? confused it with Capacitor only. It could be acceptable, then, though the final word lies in Pyramid's acceptance :wink:

I didnt realize that the time that the pictures were created really mattered

It's not about when the pictures were taken; it looks old because the object itself looks aged already TODAY. It would be really aged x thousand years in the future.

Hello everyone,

I have some experience with Pov-Ray, and would be happy to make some images for VS.
I'm not too good with biological stuff, people, animals etc, but I can model and image most other stuff, esp. any thing with a simple shape. :)

Here are a few things I would be happy to work on:
armor04 - 06;
gases, atmospheric, halogens, etc. ;
not sure about auto factories, but I don't mind trying;
maybe base metals, if ingots would be acceptable?;
I'd like to have a go at some futuristic construction vehicles, could be fun :D ;
I could probably do jewelry, I've got a few gemstone models that could fit the bill.

That's a few to start with, please let me know if you guys would like my help.

Regards, Blackbeard

I don't know about cargo images, I'll let someone more knowledgeable speak up.

I do think we need more variety in bases though, so, when you're done with cargo images, if you feel like trying something immensely more complex ;) let us know.
