Nice basic design, though, there is lots of space for more detail. Try rounding the shapes a bit, and adding some more greebles.

Then, give it shader maps. ;)

It looks like a krill (seafood). I like it though!

It reminds me of some sort of bacteria, a shrimp or krill :P
But it's really cool looking for that...
I'd personally hate to try docking with it though....

I loves it.
There is STILL no such thing as an iMac G5 with intel processors :P

It says the same thing in the last version of "iMacs for Dummies". I got a laugh out of that one. But the sig is still messed up, and the iMac is still a lot faster than mine :? .

I like your ship a lot.
As for the design approval jackS voice is required here. After that, could you please post a link or mail me the model + textures.

Via email, jackS was so friendly as to offer his sparse time to comment on the here presented concept. I want to share this authoritative guidance with the artist(s) that would like to take the challenge of further improving the current concept. Authoritative in this context means according to the UTCS (Upon the Coldest Sea) cannon and aligned with manufacturing styles of the faction by which the vessel in question was manufactured.
Good start, but still needs a couple of things. Namely, it needs lateral & retro thrusters, and it needs some Andolian-style turret pylons (see: Watson, Tesla, Kahan, etc.) on which to mount point defense turrets. More fins with radiator textures would always be appreciated as well :).
As for the scale, 500-600 meters.

I couldn't bear no longer not being able to track the progress of unit models on the wiki. It will be a pain in the A to reconstruct the progress after a while.

The Bell was committed to the data set, with shield mesh, engines thruster placement and hud image, as well as the corresponding masters.
The ship length was set to 532m.
