i cant join the server, it gets to NETWORK: Connecting To VegaServer and then comes up with:
'Error when joining game!

The server said: NETWORK ERROR in recieving socket (error number 0)!!!
As an alpha feature expect significant downtime'

Is there an actual server or am i trying to connect to a dead server?

The server seems to be dead, though Captain{}Blood was trying to get a server up and running. Don't know the status of it though.

He may be waiting for www2 to finish the account server update

Sweet! I honestly thought Captain{}Blood resigned.

so how is it with the server, is ti running? Or am I doing something wrong. It still returns an error either 0 or 115. Have I opened correct ports (8001 for account server and 6777 game server)? Somebody please answer.

Welcome schunka i don't think that it is up at all and even if it was the code is still very beta with only death matches supported and a few base functions such limited upgrades and ship dealer so you are not missing that much ATM.And the server is one of the devs home box so he may also be bandwidth limited.

Just wait till I get my job and maybe I will rent a server
