Where to Download?

Hey folks. I've trying to re-locate the downloads for Privateer Universe, but it looks like most of the links have gone dead. Can anybody point me in the right direction? Feel free to let me know here or by e-mail (scottrodgerson@hotmail.com).

Thanks.

Welcome aboard Scott Their whole site is down ATM we will see if one of us here can set something up for the down time I have a local copy of the svn repo which is the latest available but still not usable with our latest version of the engine so any download we post will not use the newest version of the engine so hang in for a few days please.

Enjoy the Choice :)

Hmmm... I Frankensteined together a version that would a while back. Have to make sure it still works with the new version. Problem is, so many of the ships need to be retooled just a bit that I lost my drive to finish it.

Don't know for sure but the latest binary is two years old ;) and uses Python 2.5 while we are moving on the version 3.0.

Enjoy the Choice :)

Yep... needs some polish, but my 2012 remake fires right up with the latest SVN bin folder (Windows XP). Space is all wite, though. And it needs some data work Someone have time to polish it? I'll upload it again.

White background usually means background textures weren't found or couldn't be loaded somehow. It's usually easy to fix.

Some time ago I made a "clean copy" of downloaded PU via SVN. It's "505" version/trunk and it is available on RapidShare:
http://rapidshare.com/files/2909785188/ ... unk-505.7z [c.a. 688 MB]

I have premium account up to 30 June 2013 but new rules of RS don't suite me so I don't know what will happen later... :?

Did you upload this anywhere yet? :)

I finally got my VS Linux toy box up and running again and as VS isn't quite drawing me in like good old Privateer did, I'm open to working with you on a PU/Remake thing. I'll be playing in either 800x600 or 1024x768, since that's all my old hardware can do with Open Source 3D drivers.
