getting shot up

I just started and when an enemy is near I can't see where they are or where they are coming from. Any tips? It doesn't seem like visibility is too good.

Sounds like you either need to buy a radar or it was damaged one way or another. If that's not the problem perhaps try turning up the brightness or contrast.
