where do you buy tachyon guns??

can't find em anywhere. im currently trying mission 3 from oxford, and i think it might help.

Tachyons are Milspec guns in PR, and as such must be bought from a Confed dealer. In this case, the only one is at Perry Naval Base.

thanks. it helps butmission 3 oxford is too hard. i even put it on the easiest diff. level

Try to use more missiles or improve your aming skills using photon torpedos.

Basically try to configure your ship for max speed (AB a must) and firepower.

Don't worry much about shields since most of the oxford missions have you taking out enemy ships before they can destroy the ship you have to safely escort.

Missiles are your best bet but have good guns for backup since the missiles can run out fast and at least one mission has you destroying a fair amount of demons in a short period of time.

And unless rebalanced they will be faster and more maneuverable than you.

Equip autotarget if you can to make it easier and just save before starting the mission so you can keep retrying.
