Game crashes when I click on the mission terminal in New Con

Post by Elegnaim »

... stantinople!

Uh, no real message. Just a crash, and a generic Windows XP crash box.

Using version 1.2 (possibly with GeminiGold's models, although I doubt this is the cause -- I recall the terminal working before). Erm, ATI Radeon X600 with the 6.2 Omega drivers. Gig of rams. P4 3GHz.

My first guess, update your video card driver. I experienced a similar problem but it occured for all mission computers or at least for the one in the starting base in Troy. Once I updated my drivers the problem went away.

If you already have the latest drivers than this won't be of any help.

you're sure you just imported the models from GG? IIRC, GG uses differnet mission computer grafics and stuff. This might be the problem... :?

It's just the nav comp that's different, isn't it? The mission computer is pretty much a geneirc VegaStrike thang. Also, it worked before.

Probably is the Omega drivers doint it.

Actually, I DO believe that I changed the mission terminal's graphic, and possibly broke it. Anyone care to send me the thing? suzaku.gaiden@Gmail.com

BTW, I don't need to have a vanilla copy of VS installed, do I?

all graphics have to be powers of two like 1024x1024 if you have 1024x768 it would crash for instance

so rescale it to be a power of two (that means you can get the number by multiplying 2 and 2 and 2 )
