PR endmission and a question (spoiler?)

First, my congratulations for a job well done. I remember playing Privateer a long time ago, and you guys have brought so many pleasant memories...

I just finished the main line of the game. I found out that if you jump back to Nitir luring the drone after you, you stand a better chance because you are no longer peppered by friendly fire from the Broadswords. I hope this helps somebody.

And my question is, Can I use another ship that I own for the RF part of the game? What I mean is can I keep or transfer weapons from an owned ship to another?

Yes, friendly fire is the worst fire in this mission

The only way to transfer equipment right now is to sell it, change the ship and buy it back again.
If you are worried about your steltek gun, just start RF and all of your questions will be answered...

I won't say that I understood your answer, but I'm on my way to Oxford with my trusty Centurion, and I'll see what I see I guess... Wanted an
Orion and do some trading on the way, but I was worried about the nice gun.

OK, now I get it. I started "helping" M in order to get info about it.

Now I finally got a Orion, but ever time I go out of the game it disappears, and when I reload the game I find I'm in my old Centurion.

Is there something I've overlooked?

Hey, you're welcome!

So, I get this right:
-You buy the Orion
-You equip the Orion
-You do missions or you fly around with the Orion
-Then you save your game (orion still your active vessel)
-You leave the game
-You restart the game and reload it
-Your Orion is gone...

If this is how it happens, I'am as confused as you are...

This seems to be a game problem as opposed to the Orion specifically. I have it with other ships as well. Probably an error with the savegames.

Having a large fleet of vessels seems to aggrivate the problem significantly, by the way.

It apparently was too many ships in "my fleet". I sold some and so far
the problem has gone away. Now I'll keep on testing to see which
ship works better for me in RF. Orion, Galaxy or Centurion.
Do you have any recommendation?
