Hey there, old Wing Commander Privateer fan here, got referred to you guys by a friend ;)

I have to say, I'm loving this remake 8) But the one thing that kind of irritates me is the lack of ship selection - kinda annoyed me in the original too, but that was way back when, so I could kinda understand. Now though, there's no excuse ;)

Specifically theres a handful of my WC favourites that are missing:

>> Crossbow: everyone's 2nd favourite Confed heavy hitter (first being the Broadsword, 'corse ;) )

>> Sartha: Everything Kilrathi in the game is kinda overpowering in the early game - put this ol fighter in and the beginning privateer can have some cats to blow to bits as well - also, Kilrathi caps would have a contingent of these fighters available as escorts.

>> Jrathek: Sure, they're annoying as hell to fight, but it seems kinda unbalanced that the Confeds get their heavy fighter and the cats don't.

>> Wraith: With the cats toting green death, you could at least give the Confeds a chance ;)

Now, other than Priv and a handful of the first WC games, I don't know how the canon goes in terms of a timeline, so feel free to slap me and tell me they didn't exist around the time of Privateer if that's the case ;)

If you have models for em though, I can easily dial in the stats, config, and cockpits.

It's a big early on the alpha development stage, but you'll have lots of ships to choose from.

Thise ships are all in WCU -- they fly OK, although the Crossbow and Wraith need a cockpit. :)

I'm confused - is WCU related to the Privateer Remake?

Anywho, I can kit out Crossbow and Wraith cockpits easily, just need to find my old Wing Commander discs.

It also seems to me that there are a lot of caps kicking around, but not much variety in the caps - I count the Drayman, Kamekh, and the Paradigm. Am I missing any? The Confeds at least are missing at least one carrier class (can't recall the name of it though)

Is it possible to add the WCU ships to Privateer without VegaStrike having an anuerism?
