I just have found the Homepage about the Privateer remakes. Now I've got some questions.
Is Privateer now playable with Windows XP and a fast computer?
Do I need the old Games to play it?
Which patch do I have to use?

Yes, it's playable. No, you don't need it. Try Privateer Remake first, if you want a more faithful recreation use Gemini Gold (but you miss some cool features), if you want to help us finish WCU get WCU.Walther wrote:Hi!

Just go to:

and install the "Windows 1.2 Full version"
You do not need the patch unless you are upgrading from an older version of the remake.
It should work on any Windows version (especially on 2000 and XP).
You don't need old games or DOS to play it. This is a complete remake of privateer, so does not require the original games and works on modern hardware.
And it should still be playable on old graphics hardware if you turn the settings all the way down. But fast hardware is of course better
So try it out and have fun.
