Stuck after getting alien weapon

Hello,

I know its probably something silly, but I got stuck after getting the aliean weapon in the mothership... Now the drone keeps chasing me everywhere, there's no one back at the bar to talk to (where did that scientist go?) and I don't have a clue of what I should do

Now what?

First of all get your money for the delta prime mission at rygannon base, then head for a mining base (the nearest one is Macabee in Nexus I think) and go to the bar...

The idea is that the Drone keeps hunting you for hours and days and you try to escape all the time and meet ??? in any mining base by accident. But a lot of people do ask here.
I guess this kind of plot did only work back then because there was no place to ask
