No speech in RF story line?

Post by Nur-Ab-Sal »

Hi!

After finally finishing the first story line I'm playing now Righteous Fire.

I've finished the missions from Godin and Murphy, and are now working at Oxford.

I noticed that I have no speech, only text. There seem to be no sound files for RF, even the bartender don't have speech for their new information. Why?

Where did you get the voice files from the first story line?

I have the CD version of Privateer with both story lines and speech.

I also have the Original CD that has both RF and PR on one disk in very good condition. I'd be happy to send you a copy, but I don't know if it's legal to do so even though the game is so old... If someone could clarify that for me, I could mail it to you, or at least send you the files in e-mails (I'd rather do it by e-mail than accually mail you a copy because I live in Alaska.). I'm using Gmail so it'd be very easy for me to do so. PM me if you want it.

I'm sure that you could at least take your sound port and hook it to the mic port with some kind of cable and record them with sound editor. Also on another note, why don't you have the sounds in mp3 format for the original campain?

If you can't read it, it's obviously not.

Because it's in Ogg format, which is better ;)

ok... so that means there's just that many sounds... nice. I saw the music already so I know it's in the same format. Good Job on all the extraction! It must have taken days.

As far as i know, the team, that works on "gemini gold" allready have the extracted speech from RF storyline. If you are somewhat connected with them, auy can just try to use there files.
