Running Problem

I'm trying to run Privateer on an Ubuntu machine. I've installed it with the .run file. However, whenever I try to use the play_vs shell script, I get the "A data directory cannot be found" error.
I installed Privateer to my Home folder.

Any suggestions?

try cding to that directory
then run
cd bin
./vegastrike.sh --setup

see if set6up works
if so then do
./vegastrike

should run it
