Campaign Score?
What exactly does the Campaign Score number mean? How are points awarded?

I'm not sure what the number itself means, but as for increasing it...
You've noticed people sitting in bars offering missions, right? Those are fixers. In the original Privateer, characters related to the storyline missions were the only source of fixer missions. To start them off, talk to Sandoval in New Detroit; as you complete those missions, your campaign score will increase.
Be forewarned, if you fail a campaign mission, you'll be stuck unable to complete the campaign if you save it afterward. At least that was how it worked in the original Privateer.

dunno what the points mean exactly nor how they work (metric or what) but I read somewhere you can edit (dunno how, you may want to ask the devs or try it by yourself) the points back (lower number) and you will go back to an earlier point in the campiagn. But attention IIRC this doesn't work the other way around... no timewarps into the futur in Priv Remake
