PLEASE MAKE THIS STICKY:

To start the RF campaign, once the Priv campaign is done, fly to the Jolson pleasure base.

To start the bonus campaign, at any time, fly to the refinery in Tingerhoff.

it branches a few times based on what decisions you make (like whether or not you dump various cargos)

I would like to make a request. Add a trigger on Jolson for the Righteous Fire campaign, so those of us who want to have fun with our Steltek Gun can do do without risking triggering the campaign by accident if we take a cargo run going to Jolson.

Just kidding...

If you are talking about, for example, level 4 reactor for the Centurion, then yes. You first got to finish the original campaign and then got to start RF...

What upgrades are available for the other ships in the RF campaign? Is it true, that the galaxy can be upgraded to level 5 shields and reactors, and the orion to level 7?

Demon only goes up to level 2 in both Steltek and RF campaigns. Centurion gets upgraded from level 3 to level 4. Galaxy gets upgraded from level 3 to level 5, and Orion gets upgraded from level 5 to level 7. Levels 8 and 9 are only for the Drayman.

Could someone remind me how to start the original Priv campaign? I can't recall (it's been years) and this computer isn't very conductive to starting up the original to check.

The original campaign begins when you meet Sandoval in the bar on New Detroit. I would advise you to max out your Tarsus upgrades (or buy a Galaxy or Centurion and max out that) before playing the campaign, though, unless you prefer the harder challenge. Autotracking for your gun mounts (available at Perry Naval Base) is a nice extra, but not mandatory.

I already have a fully kitted out Centurion :D

I remembered how it went, but not the 'hook' that got it started - thanks!

I had a problem with the dumping part, the eject option didn't work so I had to dump it at the base before launching.

Did anyone else have that problem?

Dumping works. Ctrl+X only dumps one part of your cargo. By hitting 20 times, you've lost all your cargo.
