I had one yesterday but cannot find one today anywhere system after system.

You guys are the best truthfully.

Well and I don't want to start my rant on Electronic Arts
for shutting down Origin

And I'm sick of searching.
SO: What do I have to edit, that:

- I can buy a paradigm on the next planet I wish...

or:

- how do I have to edit my savegame to own a paradigm...
(I allready tried but I messed up...so I need help there)

Drayman can be found at New Detroit planet, but you must be merchant guild member. I saw the first one when I was at about half of the RF capmaign and had about 800000 credits. Currently I can buy them almost every time I am at New Detroit, so I advise you just to play more.

It always seems to be there right after you killed the drone, but who has the money then?
Perhaps you can't buy one during RF?
I wasted hours to look for one. Made a little money in the meantime...
34 Mio Bugs... hehe ...nothing better than an empty drayman with a tracktor beam... wait for a some gorthi soak in one after an other and release him as wingman again. Then you have nothing else to do than taking the last one and sell it... for 2 500 000 a vessel... nice prize... hehe....
But, of course,money doesn't help if you cant find the porduct you are looking for...

I think that in PR you have to buy it at that specific time.

I have a similar problem with Talons. It seems to only pop up after I finish Tayla's missions, but at that time the pirates go back to hating me and won't let me buy the Talons. I guess I've got to be on good terms with them outside of the Tayla missions.

no, you can only get that specific time, also

you need a few modifications to PR as it is for those to work properly. I'm fixing them in WCU and will backport as soon as practical (meaning: remind me to, 'coz i'm stupid)

I've finished all three plots, am a member of the mercenary and merchant's guilds and have 3,000,000 in the bank and have NEVER been able to buy a Drayman.

What modifications are necessary spirit? Ideally they'd be available any time after that, if only at that type of base. I've never noticed a problem with them, but I've never had the urge to buy one..

Is the new cockpit in there for 1.2 or just in CVS? Hard to remember this stuff when it gets to be a while since the last release hehe

uhm, it will take a little bit of poking at units.csv and masterpartslist i think, also faction_ships.py make sure the category for the bonus ships match.

I first saw a drayman right after doing MAterson's missions at Oxford. In fact, it was for sale at Oxford, for 1,500,000 credits. I havent seen a talon yet, and frankly, i never want one lol. Not to say they arent worth it, but i never liked light fighters that much. The thing is, i havent seen a drayman since, anywhere, but the game is young.

The only time I saw an Drayman for sale was just as I finished the oxford missions . . . didn't have the money then I need it for my collection, I have 6 mil credits. . . But can't find one. . . I have a maxed Taurus, Orion, Centurion, Galaxy. My own little fleet. . . Now if I could just hire pilots to do cargo runs so they pay for my next toy.

Just started the Palan missions. . .

But I wan't a Drayman grrrr.

I cant find one any where, ND, or Oxford. . . There gone . . .

As far as I know you must finish the main plot to be able to buy it.

No. Just joining the merchant's guild. Unless it changed since the last time I tried (I think it was in 1.1)

I thought you would be able to buy a Drayman after the Oxford missions in PR...

you COULD be cheap and edit your save game I guess (it's drayman.blank for PR and drayman.stock for WCU)

Its annoying. . . I like having all the toys to play with. . . Lol, but why could I buy a Drayman right after oxford but I have never seen them for sale since? . . . I thought that to unlock them all you had to do was beat the Oxford missions and be in the Merchant guild. . . or was I wrong?

this is an old post but i just found the drayman in new detroit
i have 2 ships and 800k and im exploring right now, but maybe its the
amount of upgrades and money you have... at least appears to be whenever
im traveling in centurion, my galaxy cruises through everything, no encounters.

and im in merch guild. btw i saved and reloaded a couple of times
to get it to show up

I'm one of those people who want to try out all the toys. So here is what I did.
In the masterpartslist, I made the Drayman to be for sale under the category of merchant/medium. The Paradigm became a Hunter/heavy, so did the Kamehk. And I added a load of Confed and Killrathi fighters as hunter/medium or hunter/light. Now whenever I dock, there seem to be loads of these ships you normally can't buy (I think). I think that this means that somewhere in the code it says what categories of products each type of base sells. Pretty cool, though some ships (Paradigm, and worse, Kamehk) seem a bit buggy. Try out a Broadsword, they're awesome.

Oh yeah, this can be considered cheating, so don't do it if you want to play fair. Or just do it to try them out and then go back to your trusty Tarsus, Centurion, Galaxy, Orion, what have you.

-Drayman: you can buy it at New Detroid anytime after you finished the Oxford missions, only have to be lucky to see it on the list.

-Paradigm: you can buy it right after you talk to the admiral after killing the drone, itll be avaible on the selling list as deprecated (about 9kk), however, thats the only time is the entire game you will be able to buy, even if you save the game right after talking to him (after he congratulates you) and you load again, itll have disapeared of the list (same happens to milspec broadsword).

You can get a Kamehk in the hollow Asteroid through one of the Kilrathi jumps(Ragnorok)!

Hmmmm but it has to be after some part of the campaign to buy Kahmeth? ive gone there but ive only seen that Salthi (my reputation is -100 with kilraths)
