I'm guessing it shows up on the bonus branch which allows you to purchase Dralthi and Gothri at said base, but as I haven't seen it I'm spending some time killing confed as (if memory serves) ship availability is affected by reputation. And seriously, isn't flying around in a Kamekh a better statement that a Paradigm?

Funny, Andreas, that It's again me who can confirm your experience with the kamekh. I also finished the bonus campaign, I had the cargo mission (running catnip to Tr'Pakh). But it was in PR1.1 (the cloak was also availiable), so I don't know if it works in 1.2. Maybe it even appears randomly when doing everything right, just to keep the rumors alive?

Unfortunately, it was the first time I played PR (played the classic and Gemini Gold prior), than I landed on the asteroid and realized that I can buy capships - having just 800k credits :cry: :cry: . Guess what happened when I got the money and returned to the Asteroid - the kamekh was gone!

Maybe :idea: I might take a look at eBay! Kamekhs starting at 1 US$?

You can try and edit your savegame to give yourself a different ship or more money... just don't do that too often, it saps the fun :) I recommend you buy like, a talon or something, use it as your current ship and save the game -- then just replace the first "talon" you find in the savegame with "kamekh" and reload. You should open the savegame with Wordpad rather than Notepad though.

also uhm... yay for you being male? ^_^;

Dilloh, on PR 1.2 it has listed the cat ships and they are listed under Decreped (mind my spelling my word prossesor is not working). you have to change it to "Kilrathi/milspec" or something like that.

Can someone explain how it is possible to own a fleet of maxed out ships?

Go to ship dealer, upgrades, ships, myfleet. You see a list of all the ships you own, still you can't launch them all at once. So the terminology "Fleet" is not correct at all.

EDIT:
Ok, got it now. My confusion stems from not knowing that "MyFleet" is actually created to store my current ship when I buy a new one from upgrades/ship. I actually just found this in the manual as well. Have to read more carefully next time.

Just edited my save file to get the paradigm. Slow as expected for a carriership, but it's fun as hell watching all those turrets (and my little ship babies) fly.

Cept if I send out too many, they start shooting me in the crossfire.

Tried to destroy Perry Naval Base, but apparently they just dont explode.

Well, everything can be destroyed - even bases, planets and navpoints. But perry surely needs more than one paradigm, unless you don't hack your guns to an adequate firepower.
