There is a reason that the homepage of that site has been taken down: We don't want people downloading software that is 3 years old and then wasting time because it doesn't work on newer computers and is slow, etc.
I recommend downloading Gemini Gold or Parallel Universe (pu.wcjunction.com).
True, SourceForge never deletes files, and it may be interesting for historical reasons to see PR 1.2, but if you actually intend to play it I would recommend going with a newer release.
The reason you are confused is because the people who have access to wcuniverse.sourceforge.net were being idiots and didn't actually link to the above two projects, despite the fact that hundreds of sites link there.

I'd like to download this stuff, source, binaryíes, whatever, even if it doesn't run.
