I am refering to the status messages notifying of mission objectives as you leave the base, as well as tutorial messages on the left, and as you make a kill.

Is there anyway to configure the speed of the messages?

I barely had a chance to glance at them before they disappeared.

Apologies if this has been asked before, but searching hasn't yeilded the suitable results.

In vegastrike.config in the graphics section:
