units.csv questions

Need help testing contributed art or code or having trouble getting your newest additions into game compatible format? Confused by changes to data formats? Reading through source and wondering what the developers were thinking when they wrote something? Need "how-to" style guidance for messing with VS internals? This is probably the right forum.

How did you filled it? Do you have a special tool which merge old xunit files or did you do it by hand? And does light tag design engines?
I see dead polygons....

We made a conversion utility to merge all the old files together, and to do ship replacement. A copy of this should be in CVS, along with other converters, in the objconv subdir of the vegastrike module.

yes, the light tag deotes engine wash.

Found it! ucsv.py, seems to work fine
I see dead polygons....

just watch, it does have some problems with some specific tags (shields for instance, which cnanged at some point)...you will see the error messages printed, and may have to do a slight mdification by hand :-)
