A tool to replace missing effects

Need help testing contributed art or code or having trouble getting your newest additions into game compatible format? Confused by changes to data formats? Reading through source and wondering what the developers were thinking when they wrote something? Need "how-to" style guidance for messing with VS internals? This is probably the right forum.

A tool to replace missing effects

Post by Breakable »

This is an interesting tool that generates effect sounds randomly:

Are there any missing sounds that needs to be replaced?

Have you tried it if so there are a few sound FX that are needed engine sounds and maybe process that engine sound for an overdrive sound louder and distorted and can you think of any more keyboard events or game events that deserve a distinctive beep boop or what ever.

Enjoy the Choice :)

I think the beep sounds for targetting each ship or selecting things could be nicer.
I don't like targetting in reverse because of the nasty beeep-beeep sound that it makes.

I played around with this program for a bit and it was able to make some nicer computery sounds.
