Writing Descriptions: Content and Flavour

I've only played this game for two days so far, and so far I love it. As an old Privateer fan, I fell right into the world.

The first thing I noticed is the lack of writing in a lot of areas. Most equipment is saddled with names like "shield generator 4" and no description, just a list of numeric stats. I'd like to volunteer myself to help folks with their "fluff" text. Made a ship? That ship would be a lot better with some background info. Just PM me and I'll see what I can whip up for you.

I would also like to help add descriptive text to existing stuff, but I have no idea where to go about that. Can anyone offer some support?

Welcome Erk the place to look is units.csv and master_parts_list.csv we have a custom tool for editing the csv files http://vegastrike.sourceforge.net/forum ... php?t=7143 happy hacking

Post them in the Artwork & Content Vetting sub forum and if the Minister of Information likes it he will let you know

He may even give some further info to be incorporated in to the description.
